Hi, my name is Kim and I’m here to slay your nails! I’m a born and raised Miami girly who loves all things cute and girly <3 I’ve been doing nails professionally for 2 years, I prioritize nail health and cutesy nail art. I mainly use Japanese and Korean polishes that are gentle for your nails but durable! My main goal as a nail technician is not only to do beautiful nails but to also ensure you feel welcomed and comfortable. What makes my gel manicures different? My gel manicures always include hard gel. Hard gel is a type of gel that is used to make the nail stronger. Instead of doing a hard gel overlay on top of the natural nail, I instead go in with 2 layers of base coat, then the gel color, and then I add hard gel; it’s kind of like encapsulating the nail! The downside of doing a hard gel overlay is the removal. The only way to remove hard gel is by filing the hard gel completely down to your natural nail, which can cause damage. However, because of my process of applying the hard gel over the gel polish, we can file down just to the color and soak off the remainder of the product.
